As part of our Diamond Jubilee celebrations (1945 - 2005), Chairman Phil presented Frank,
our longest standing member with 'Honorary Life Membership'.
Frank joined the club 6 years after it was formed and has always been a very active member.

Phil on Track
Phil passenger hauling is not a special event as part of the Jubilee Celebration,
but for another of the Webmaster's competitions.
Phil has stopped ?. Is it for:
A: To pose for the picture.
B: At a red signal.
C: To ask for directions back to the station.
Sorry, but competition is closed, thanks for all the entries written on £50.00 notes.
I am off to spend the money. Webmaster..

Ryan on GLT
History in the making.
In spring 2005 two of our junior members passed the steam driving test,

which means they can drive on our public passenger ride days.
Ryan seen here handing over the track 'Token' to his Grandfather Ron, is the youngest member
ever to passenger haul on the ground level track.

steam train enthusiast visited the park.
