| "Combpyne", a 5 inch gauge 4-4-2 Steam
Powered Locomotive. Designed and built by the late Kelvin Moonie, it is based on the Adams 415 Class Radial Tank Engine. Model completed in 1980. Took 2nd place in the 1980 I.M.L.E.C. (International Model Locomotive Efficiency Competition). Awarded a Silver Medal in the 1981 Model Engineering Exhibition. One of a number of Steam Locomotives in the club's collection. |
