Located in Ridgeway Park, the railway can be easily found from any of the entrances or exits to the park. The park also offers tennis courts, a small cafe selling sandwiches and drinks, toilets which can be used whenever the park keeper is on duty, an ice cream van during the summer months, childrens play areas (one for under 7s and another for under 12s), an outdoor gym and a large field perfect for any football game. Infact, England's superstar footballers Harry Kane and David Beckham used to play football in Ridgeway Park in the weekends when they was a kids! The park also offers a lovely rose garden perfect for having lunch in on the benches provided by the council.
We are open every Sunday from April 6th 2025 to Sunday 28th September 2025 from 1:30pm to 5pm. Make sure to come along and have a ride on our railway!
The club is served by two local buses, the 97 and 215. These buses link up with Chingford Mount and North Chingford Bus Termini. Chingford Station (located on the Chingford - London Liverpool Street Overground Line) is only a 15 minute walk away down Station Road, meaning the club is just 45 minutes away from Central London.
We are situated near the A406 (North Circular) and the M11. Ridgeway Park has a small car park off off Peel Close, which is a side road to the main A112 (Old Church Road). Parking here is free, however it can get very busy very quickly - we highly recommed parking elsewhere and walking the short distance to the railway to save time.
